A look back to 2010...
EBB-SPRAY

Well 2010 went pretty well to be fair a lot better than the past years.

I got my first podium at a Maxxis British Championship and won a lot of races in the Red Bull Pro series and came runner up in that by 7 points. It was the first time I have ever been in a real championship hunt in my professional career and it was fun and learnt a lot.

I had a few up and downs throughout the year, in Spain at the beginning of the year I had a big crash and ripped 2 ligaments off my ankle bone which gave me a lot of hassle throughout the year.

If I didn't have that crash I believe I would of done even better than I did as did not really show my speed I had before my crash in the season at all but that’s how it is in racing!

The start of the season went well my first race. I finished 2nd and 6th overall which was awesome and was joint first at the red bull first round to lead the championship for 2 rounds but then hurt my ankle and was just trying to score points.

Martin Barr started getting the better of me in the mid half of the season in the red bull pro series and I didn’t really have anything for him. I worked even harder and got my ankle better and I started to come good at the end of the year and won the last 5 out of 6 motos at the red bull pro nationals. The race I didn't win I had a crash with another rider and hurt my ankle and was unable to finish and that cost me the championship really.

I felt like at the end of the season especially Wakes Colne the last round of the red bull was where I rode my best all year and felt I had my real speed back like I had before my crash in Spain testing at the beginning of the year. All in all I was very happy with my season as a whole and I think i surprised a few people.

After the season finished I went on holiday with all my mates to Cancun, Mexico and that was unreal - every one should go there if they like to party. I also went to the Bahamas for another holiday with my girl friend. It may seem like I have been on too many holidays but I haven't been on holiday properly for about 6 years so I thought id make the most of it.

I got back from Bahamas at the beginning of November and then went straight into training with a new trainer for 2011, Steve Smith. He has been working me so hard…the hardest I have ever worked before and this is for sure the most prepared and fittest I have ever been leading up to the season which I’m super excited about. I really can’t wait to get riding again so that’s about it really
