My Little Silver Weekend And Abit Of Wiskey Throttle

poster_whip

We got to little silver saturday evening after a four and a half hour drive and it was dark so didn't get to see the track but i didnt mind as we had some mega food on the go which our chef/ everything steve fry had cooked for us, steve was with me when i rode for rwj years ago and then swift and then lpe but he stayed with lpe last year but is with db this year which is awesome and he really helps out alot after we had eaten we watched abit of the liverpool sx on tv and it was shocking so didnt watch much, it was getting pretty cold in the camper  so i  went to turn the heating on in the camper and we where out of gas which was pretty handy so me and steve had to go hunting for some gas and eventually found some at a fuel station, After that and getting the heating flat out it was time for bed,
i woke up in the morning at about 7 and got out and had a look at the track it was in mega condition and they had changed it a fair bit from last year and made it a lot more flowing
i was excited to get on the track and put down some laps,
qualifying came around pretty fast and we where out on track it was pretty slick to start as they had put a lot of water down but it soon dried out and formed some lines,
i felt pretty good and felt i was going fast but it was hard to put in a clear lap as people kept getting in my way and falling off every where its always the same at round one people try so hard and crash huge ,
i ended up 5th in times for super pole which didn't go as planned at all , i pretty much messed up my lap it was all going good until the last section , there is a rolling whoop section and if you can get it right u can double out but i messed it up and hit pretty much all of them and lost my speed so i ended up 8th which wasn't good at all .
race 1 seemed like it came up so fast they don't give you much time at all at british with the 3 motos to get ready so its a pretty jam packed day, so before i knew it it was time to line up for the first moto of the year and i didn't know then it wasn't going to go my way ,
the 5 second board went up and the gate hesitated and i went to jump and miss timed the gate so got a bad jump i tried to tuck in behind the pack but it didn't work and was last around turn 1 , and then in turn 3 some one crashed and rode into me and hit my gear lever and i went down , the crash bent my lever around to my foot peg so i had to stop and kick it strait by this time i was dead last with a lot of work to do, on lap one i was 37th and started working my way through the pack by mid race i was up to 12th and feeling good i could see the top 5 by now and felt i could catch to at least 6th but i hit a false neutral off a big step down and cased it front end first and my leg came off i fell off the bike and got whiskey throttle at the same time and my bike shot off over the other side of the track i got up and had to run about 50 yards to get it i got up and was back to 18th with 4 laps left and put the hammer down again and picked off some riders the 2 lap board came out and i was 14th but could see 5 riders ahead and i caught them up and passed them pretty much all on one corner  and ended up 9th which was good,
race 2 i wanted to do much better and i got a better start about 8th and passed some riders on lap one and got my self into 5th but i was riding so bad i was making mistakes and wasn't flowing and felt like i was hitting every bump on the track  i wasn't happy with the way i was riding at all i finished an easy 5th but i was not happy at all,
race 3 came around before i knew it and i changed a few thing on the bike and i was in my favorite kit so had to do good no fear hooked me up with there electron baby blue kit with the coolest numbers on the back which you can see in my fan club so i had to do good in this stuff i got a good jump but got squeezed in the corner and was in about 8th i worked my way to 4th and i could see Karro and mackenzie a strait ahed of me i pushed hard and caught up quickly but i couldn't make the pass it was so hard to pass on the track so i had to wait for the right time and that came on the very last lap there was a bit of the track i was  a fair bit faster and i knew i could set mackenzie up there i got right behind him coming up the hill and swept out wide and cut off the next corner and put the block pass onto for 3rd i rode hard to make sure i gave my self space to he didn't return the favor to me but it was all good and ended up 3rd and 5th overall on the day which was ok , i don't know if Tonus is doing the whole championship i don't think he is and if he's not am only 8 points of second in points so not a bad day really ,

at the end of the day i picked up my new spin bike from dirt bike gym  which looks awesome and is a cool idea and everyone needs one to warm up on ,

so that was pretty much my weekend really ill put some pics up when i get them so you can check out the sexy new kit ,
